A fun and confidence-building class for children from Reception age and above who love to sing and perform.

Our Singing classes help children discover their voices in a friendly and encouraging environment. They develop vocal technique, musicality and performance skills while singing songs they genuinely enjoy.

Children explore music from musical theatre and popular repertoire, with opportunities to add character, movement and acting to their performances. They are encouraged to share their own ideas and help choose songs that excite them.

What happens in class?

Classes include enjoyable vocal warm-ups, breathing exercises, pitch, rhythm, diction and performance work. Children learn how to sing safely, communicate the meaning of a song and perform with growing confidence.

Pupils can work towards London College of Music examinations at a level and pace that suits them. Examinations provide an exciting goal and a wonderful sense of achievement, but children are also encouraged to enjoy singing, experimenting and developing their own individual performance style.

Uniform

Our uniform is compulsory with a classical bun for Ballet and a neat ponytail for all other classes. We expect our pupils to be beautifully presented.
