SUMMER WORKSHOPS 2026

We’re keeping things simple this summer with three special workshops for different age groups.

Each workshop held in West Wickham, has been planned as a fun, friendly experience where children can dance, create, perform and spend time with friends during the long summer holidays.

You do not need to be a current Louise Benson School of Dance student to join us.

STAGE SCHOOL SUMMER CAMP

Wednesday 19th August

9.00am–5.00pm

Ages 6–11

Ever wondered what it is like to spend a day at stage school?

Join Miss Louise and the LBSD team for a full day inspired by real stage-school training. Children will experience classes, rehearsals, audition activities and performance work, while learning new routines and preparing a mini performance for the end of the day.

Miss Louise attended stage school herself from the age of 11 and will give the children a fun insight into training, auditions, performances and what a typical day can involve.

TEENS SUMMER DANCE DAY

Thursday 20th August

10.30am–4.30pm

School Year 7 +

A relaxed and inspiring summer day for our senior dancers.

Students will take part in a range of dance and performance sessions, learn new choreography and spend the day dancing with friends.

The day will also feature workshops led by LBSD students who are progressing into full-time professional training, giving our seniors the chance to learn from dancers who are taking their next steps at Bird College and Wilkes Academy.

MOVIE MAGIC DANCE WORKSHOP

Friday 21st August

9.00am–11.30am

Ages 3-6

A magical morning of dancing, music, games and creative activities inspired by childrens favourite films, stories and characters.

This workshop will be led by Miss Louise and Miss Clara and is suitable for both current students and children who are new to dance.

BOOKING

Places are limited and must be booked in advance.

Full payment is required when booking. Workshop places are non-refundable unless the workshop is cancelled by Louise Benson School of Dance.

Spaces are limited and workshops do tend to fill quickly, so early booking is recommended.

All workshops will take place at Emmanuel Hall, The Grove, West Wickham.
