February Half Term Dance Workshops

Our next workshops are taking place during the February half term, offering two age appropriate sessions designed to keep children and teens active, social and inspired during the school break.

Both workshops are led by our trusted Louise Benson School of Dance teachers in a friendly, supportive environment, and are open to current pupils and friends.

Junior Street Jazz & Acro Workshop

Friday 20th February
9.30am – 12.30pm
Medhurst Hall, Sussex Road, West Wickham (just off the high street)
£25 per child
Ages 6–11

Led by Clara, it will be a fun, lively and creative morning combining:

Street Jazz choreography
Acro skills and conditioning
Fun movement games
A relaxed craft break to reset, refocus and get creative

It’s a lovely mix of dance, creativity and confidence building, perfect for children who enjoy moving, learning new skills and spending time with others in a supportive setting.

Teen Commercial Dance Workshop

Tuesday 17th February
1.30pm – 4.30pm
Wickham Halls
£30 per dancer
Ages approx. 11–15

A relaxed, age-appropriate workshop created especially for pre-teens and teens, offering something positive and social to do during the holidays.

Led by Liv, the afternoon will include:

Fun commercial dance choreography to current, age-appropriate music
Time to dance, move and socialise with friends
A supportive environment focused on confidence and enjoyment

This is not an intensive, and there’s no pressure to perform, it’s simply about dancing, connecting and feeling good.
You are very welcome to bring a friend, even if they don’t currently dance with LBSD.

Spaces are limited for both workshops to keep groups a comfortable size.
